Camp Information

The Krivo 2026 Elite 12U Skating and Skills Development Summer Camp offers a rigorous and comprehensive training program for young hockey players. Each day commences with a focused one-hour session dedicated to mastering the fundamentals of skating, including edge control—both forwards and backwards—and proficiency in inside and outside edges. Instruction further emphasizes stride length, agility, speed, and essential techniques for stopping and starting.

The second hour shifts focus to the development of key hockey skills necessary for effective performance at the 12U level. Participants receive targeted coaching in stickhandling, puck protection, passing, and shooting mechanics. The camp is structured to ensure individual attention and systematic guidance in each foundational area.

To consolidate learning, every day concludes with small area games designed to provide athletes with practical opportunities to apply newly acquired skills in competitive scenarios, thereby enhancing real-time comprehension and execution.

On the final day, participants engage in a full-ice scrimmage during the closing hour, with teams balanced to foster fair competition. This culminating activity enables athletes to demonstrate their progress and put their skills to the test in a spirited environment.

Registration and Participation Details

For the past sixteen years, Krivo camps have consistently reached full enrollment, drawing players from the Colorado Front Range, mountain communities, and out-of-state locations. To maintain a high standard of instruction, registration is limited to 25 skaters and 4 goalies per camp. This restriction ensures meaningful repetitions and optimal development opportunities for all attendees. Early registration is strongly advised due to limited availability and high demand.

Once capacity has been met, registration will close, and subsequent applicants will be placed on a waitlist. Goalies are requested to confirm their registration by emailing akrivo@krivoschoolofhockey.com (for example: "Registered my son/daughter for your 12U camp; he/she is a goalie.").
